I started my career in the arts by founding Page \ Park Architects. I have always viewed architecture as the art of making the built environment, and, for me, drawing and painting were always essential to that process.

The challenge now, as a full time artist, is to combine both image and experience on a flat surface.

I enjoy two bases from which I work: The Origami Studio in the heart of the conservation area of Tobermory, Isle of Mull, Scotland exercising the ‘right to roam’ in Mull’s majestic mountains and scrambling her battered coastline. My second base is the Origami House which is set in the gentle rural landscape beside the glorious Glens of Antrim, Northern Ireland. Both these landscapes, cast in changing light and atmosphere, invigorate and challenge my work as ian artist.

In Scotland my work is available through Calgary Arts on the Isle of Mull. In Northern Ireland my work is available exclusively through Canvas Galleries, Lisburn Road, Belfast.
